On Remembrance Sunday Flitwick holds a special Remembrance Parade and Service at the War Memorial with the British Legion and representatives from uniformed cadets and young groups from the town.

The event is always very well supported by the local community as we all come together to pay our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Since 2019 the War Memorial has been covered in a beautiful display of knitted and crocheted poppies created by the Stitchers group and individuals from the town and surrounding villages. The stunning display provided a poignant tribute to the fallen.
