Town Mayor Hosts Special Civic Reception To Thank Local Community

Town Mayor, Cllr Andy Snape hosted a special Civic Reception on Saturday 16th October to thank people in the local community who had significantly contributed to the coronavirus pandemic response and gone above and beyond the call of duty to help others.
One hundred guests attended the event at The Rufus Centre representing local volunteer groups, local charities and people who were nominated by the community.
Her Majesty’s Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Susan Lousada and Cllr Mark Smith, Mayor of Ampthill also attended the event.
The night was a wonderful celebration of the local community.
