Town Mayor & Deputy Town Mayor Elected

Flitwick Town Council is delighted to announce that Councillor Andy Snape has been re-elected Town Mayor at tonight’s Annual Statutory Meeting.
Councillor Snape will be supported during the 2022/23 civic year by Councillor Clare Thompson who has been elected Deputy Town Mayor.
Commenting on this appointment, Councillor Snape said: “I am honoured to be elected by my fellow Councillors to serve as Town Mayor for a second term. I am privileged to lead a fantastic group of motivated Town Councillors and we will continue working with the Town Clerk and his team to focus on delivering our strategic priorities and responding to the needs of our community.
“We have some exciting events coming up, and I look forward to meeting residents over the summer.”
