The Rufus Centre is popular meetings, conference and events venue with a choice of seven meeting rooms accommodating up to 200 people.   It also provides a  community hub for a range of activities such as the Over 60s Lunch Club and Tribute Nights.  The Town Council offers free or discounted meeting space for local charities, groups and organisations.   If you would like to know more please get in touch.

The Rendezvous Café & Bar at The Rufus Centre opened in summer 2020.  You can be sure of a very warm welcome and a great range of food and refreshments to choose from.  Currently open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and on Saturdays 8am to 2pm, the Café offers both indoor and outdoor seating with well-behaved dogs welcome outside.
