New Benches and Bins installed in Millennium Park

Thanks to Section 106 funds and Bedfordshire Police’s Violence and Exploitation Reduction Unit (VERU), the park now has two newly installed benches for the community to benefit from. These are located alongside the gym equipment and the low trim trail, one on the far side of the field and two additional benches inside the play area.

By the Skatepark, two new benches and a waste bin have also been installed, funded as part of the Skate Competition held in Summer 2021. Excitingly, a Youth Shelter is also due to be installed in early February!

We hope the local community will enjoy and benefit from the new instalments in the beautiful park.
