Please join members of our community at St Peter & St Paul’s Church on the eve of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral for a unique candlelit service of remembrance and thanksgiving for her life and service. Everyone is welcome, including those who don’t usually attend Church.
Cllr Andy Snape, Flitwick Town Mayor, will lead a minute’s silence at the end of the service at 8 pm as part of the National Moment of Reflection. A muffled bell will toll at the end of the silence. Everyone can come together to observe the silence as part of the Commemorative Service at the Church, privately with friends and family or out on doorsteps or your street with your neighbours.
Please let Flitwick Parish Church know using the event below if you plan to attend so that we have an idea of the numbers attending.
