Celebrating Our Community – Annual Civic Service
We had a wonderful time celebrating our community at the annual Civic Service on Sunday 8th October at Flitwick Parish Church.
Hosted by Cllr Andy Snape, Town Mayor, representatives from the Flitwick branch of the Royal British Legion and the town’s uniformed groups formed a guard of honour at the church entrance.
The Civic Service celebrates the ongoing work and achievements across our town’s voluntary sector and the work of the Town Council and we were joined by representatives from across the community and Mayors from many Bedfordshire towns.
Donations from the service will be shared between the Town Mayor’s charities, SOS. Saturday Outreach Service and Tibbs Dementia Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who attended this special event. We are very grateful for your support in celebrating our town and the local community.
