The Remembrance Parade and Service was very well supported by hundreds of members of  the Flitwick community on Remembrance Sunday. Local groups and organisations were led by the Ampthill Town Band as they paraded up Station Road to the War Memorial where the service took place.

The Town Council is investing £16,000 in new play equipment for the play areas at Station Road and Beaumont Court next spring. Plans for both Station Road and Beaumont Court include a variety of equipment for children to explore.  Highlights include a  Springboard See-Saw, Tightrope Walk, Snowboard and a Multi-Play installation with 9 different play

A fantastic total of £1,318 was raised from the Town Mayor’s Charity Prize Draw.  The money will be shared between this year’s Town Mayor’s charities  Mind BLMK and Respite at Home Volunteers West Mid Beds and Ivel Valley.
