FLITWICK RAILWAY STATION – GATE CLOSURE ON RAILWAY BRIDGE

In May 2021 Flitwick Town Council wrote to Great Northern and Thameslink following their decision to close the pedestrian access gate to the station platforms on the railway bridge in Flitwick.
The Town Council received a response from Great Northern and Thameslink on 27th October which was discussed at the last Full Council meeting on 16th November. For a number of reasons the Council was unhappy with the response received and at the meeting resolved to write to Great Northern and Thameslink to further highlight their concerns.
A copy of the response will be sent to our local MP seeking their support.
The Town Council will issue further updates on the gate closure as soon as there is more information to share with residents.
