CHRITMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON CANCELLED DUE TO HIGH WINDS

Regrettably, due to the high winds, we have no choice but to cancel the Christmas Lights Switch On this afternoon.

This event takes months of planning and it is not a decision we have taken lightly, but the safety of everyone is paramount.

Unfortunately, we cannot postpone the event due to the prior commitments of so many involved.

The lights will be switched on remotely, so the town will still be shining bright tonight.
