3 Station Road – New Roof Complete

Town Mayor Cllr John Roberts, together with Cllr Andy Snape, Cllr Dan Toinko, and Cllr Robert Wilsmore, got a bird’s eye view of the town when they visited the site last week.

Although you won’t notice any visible changes from the ground, the roof has been replaced to ensure the building is watertight and energy efficient. The roof project was funded by the UK Government’s Community Ownership fund.

The Town Council plans to develop the building into a casual dining restaurant and a retail space with an aspiration to include a Post Office counter, to open in 2025.
